The money that is made from movies is often staggering and many cannot even put their head around the hundreds of millions that the stars and the producers of hit films make in a very short period of time. Movies that are adapted from books make even more for the writers of the books. This can be a great combination as many books have been adapted for the silver screen and can put diamonds in the eyes of producers looking to cash in on the fever. When big budgets are involved, it is widely accepted that the movies will do well and certain franchises are poised to rake in the money due to their overall popularity and history of high quality filming.
